Junior Timeline

Explore interests in subjects, colleges, and careers
Consider career options and investigate the type of education that is needed
Take the ASVAB exam (available to all Milaca Juniors- required for military entrance)
Attend Central MN Education Fair
Take the PSAT exam (recommended to students in top 1/3 of class)
Collect and organize college brochures, view books, and program information
Attend meetings with college and/or military representatives in the Student Services Office (see link on left)
Check out the MCIS website for college and career information

Check ACT and SAT registration deadlines
Investigate requirements for admission to colleges that you are interested in
Register for senior year classes and check graduation requirements for high school
Consider job shadowing in your career area of interest

Make contact with colleges to schedule summer visits
Take ACT (April and/or June) and/or SAT (the ACT will be offered at Milaca High School in the Spring)
Line up summer job to save money for college
