Hello Families,
My name is Rose Nelson, and I have taught both kindergarten and 2nd grade. I went to Milaca Elementary and Milaca High school. I attended Minnesota State Univeristy, Mankato for my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, and I earned my Masters in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University.
I currently live just outside of town with my husband Shawn, and two sons Blake and Bryce. I enjoy being outside golfing, snowmobiling, and reading.
I am so excited to be working with you this year. We have many exciting days of learning ahead of us! We will spend a great deal of time enhancing our reading skills, writing, and working on math skills. We will also have unit studies in science, social studies, and health as well as specials (gym, media, music, and art). I am looking forward to working together this school year!
