Incremental Rehearsal (Grades K-1)
To increase fluent identification of letter names, letter sounds, sight words, etc. for students who have not yet mastered the names or sound with high rates of automaticity. This technique facilitates mastery, builds fluency and leads to retention of letter names, sounds and word for struggling readers.
Letter Sound Correspondence (K-1)

ROAR (Grades 1-3)
Repeated Assisted Oral Reading (ROAR) is a researched based strategy designed to increase a student's accuracy, fluency, and comprehension of instructional level passages for students who:- Are one to two grade levels below their peers in reading.
- will benefit from modeled and repeated practice on the same passage.
ROAR is a partner reading practice that will help your child become a better reader in the following ways:- S/He will read more accurately, mispronouncing or needing help on fewer words.
- S/He will read more fluently (better expression and faster)
- S/He will remember and understand what has been read better.
