Jacquelyn graduated in 1998 from Milaca High School. While in high school, she was involved in National
Honor Society, Cross Country (captain and multi-year letter winner), All-Conference Cross Country, Track
and Field (captain and multi-year letter winner), Honorable Mention Track and Field, a multiple Academic
Letter winner, Mock Trial State Entrant, All Conference Band - French Horn, French Horn State Section
Music Contest, Marching Band, Student Council, and Basketball.
She graduated from Bethel College, Class of 2002. While there, she received a B.A. in Political Science and
B.A. in Communications. She attended Bethel University Graduate School to received her MN Teaching
Licensure in 5-12 Communication Arts & Literature.While in college, she earned her way to the Dean's List,
was recognized for an Outstanding Senior Thesis, continued her Cross Country and Track and Field career,
and was a part of the American Studies Program and Internship in Washington DC Spring Semester 2001.
Jackie’s career began in retail and higher education where her execution and management skills flourished.
She began as a GAP Kids assistant store manager, adjunct instructor at Crown College and assistant Cross
Country coach. She then spent time with the Team Ortho Foundation as a senior event director and
volunteer coordinator for race events. After leaving, Jackie accepted a contract with the PGA of America for
the 2016 Ryder Cup, as the director of volunteer operations at Hazeltine National Golf Club. A fast follower
to the Ryder Cup, Jackie accepted a position with the Minneapolis Police Department as a special events
coordinator for the 2019 Men's Final Four, 2018 Super Bowl LII and XGames. Currently, she works as a VP
Lead Business Execution consultant for Wells Fargo.
Jackie has received the following special awards: The Department of Homeland Security Community of
Excellence Award for Super Bowl LII, the Minneapolis Police Department Chief's Recognition for
Excellence, and she was a Minneapolis Police Civilian of the Year Finalist 2018.
She gives her time and talents through volunteering and serving when time permits. Her largest
commitment was being elected and serving for the Waconia School Board from 2019-2023 as Vice Chair.
Other volunteer events include PTO member, Girl Scout Leader, Community Education Coach, Twin Cities
Jazz Festival Volunteer Coordinator, and JDRF.
Jackie lives in Waconia, MN with her husband, and high school sweetheart, Jarod Johnson. Jarod and
Jackie have 4 kids. Tobey is 20 years old, starting his second year at Mankato State University in the
Commercial Aviation program. Ethan is 18 and starting his senior year at Waconia High School. Ben is 16
starting his sophomore year at Waconia High School. Ameliya is 13 and starting her 8th grade year at
Waconia Middle School. The Johnsons welcomed the newest member to their family two years ago, Bailey.
Bailey is a loveable Bernese Mountain Dog and has become the center of everyone's attention. Jackie
continues to advance her career as a Business Execution Consultant for Wells Fargo, where she has been
for the past 4 1/2 years. When she isn't strategizing at work she can usually be found enjoying time with her
family, friends, and walking the dog.
