 This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of accounting concepts, principles, and procedures. Accounting 1 covers accounting theories and practices. The main objective of this course is to introduce students to the double-entry system of accounting for both sole proprietorships and corporations by using real-world applications and connections. Other important objectives include the following: To help students develop an understanding of the economic activities affecting businesses.
